Stellantis is pausing some manufacturing in Mexico and Canada and briefly shedding a whole bunch of staff within the U.S. because the automaker tries to navigate President Donald Trump’s newest spherical of auto tariffs. 

The corporate will likely be briefly pausing manufacturing on the Toluca Meeting Plant in Mexico on April 7.  It should concurrently pause manufacturing at its Windsor Meeting Plant in Canada for 2 weeks. These operations are anticipated to renew the week of April 21.
