I stand in full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at this critical moment in our region’s history. As an International security expert who has worked in fragile environments in the Middle East and Eastern Africa, I recognize the importance of stability responsible leadership and a clear national vision. Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has demonstrated a model of transformative leadership that has reshaped the Kingdom and positioned it as one of the most influential nations in the world.
Vision 2030, spearheaded by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, is not simply a policy framework but a bold roadmap that has diversified the economy, expanded opportunities for empowered youth, strengthened technological advancement and opened the Kingdom to global investment and tourism. This trajectory has significantly strengthened Saudi Arabia and contributed positively to the broader stability and progress of the region as a whole. From the rapid growth of non-oil sectors to groundbreaking projects such as NEOM and major reforms in governance digital transformation and infrastructure the Kingdom has shown that strategic planning combined with decisive leadership can move a nation confidently into the future. These reforms have strengthened regional cooperation enhanced economic resilience and fostered hope for a more prosperous Middle East.
In the strongest possible terms I condemn the attacks and hostile actions directed at Saudi Arabia Qatar and other Gulf states by the Iranian regime. Such acts represent a clear violation of sovereignty and international law and pose a serious threat to regional stability and global security. No nation should be subjected to aggression that undermines its safety and development.
The world must speak with one voice against actions that endanger peace and disrupt the progress that nations have worked tirelessly to achieve.
The international community reaffirms its full support for the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and recognizes its right to self-defense in accordance with the United Nations Charter and international law. The wise navigation of this challenge by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will prevail because their leadership has consistently demonstrated resilience vision and responsibility. The region has been moving in the right direction through cooperation development and reform and it must not be derailed by destabilizing actions.
Saudi Arabia today stands as a pillar of moderation development and strategic foresight. Its humanitarian contributions its diplomatic engagement and its economic partnerships reflect a nation committed to peace and shared prosperity. I join the world in expressing unwavering support for the Kingdom and in rejecting any attempt to threaten its security or undermine its progress. With steadfast leadership clear vision and unity the region will emerge stronger and more secure for future generations.
