Two Livermore wineries acquired nationwide acclaim this week.
The Zoe Report named Darcie Kent Property Vineyard and Rosa Fierro Cellars on a listing of the highest 10 women-owned wineries in the US.
Darcie Kent Property, now in its sixth era of winemaking, was ranked No. 2 for its “perfect blend of art, wine and community in Livermore Valley.” The property was praised for its constant top quality and creativity in its winemaking, whereas celebrating Darcie’s art work all through the property.
“Darcie remains our vintner and artist, walking the vineyards daily and capturing their spirit through her vibrant label paintings,” the Darcie Kent Property mentioned in a press release.
Kent’s daughter, Amanda, is now the president of the vineyard, whereas her different daughter, Kailyn, is a label designer.
Livermore’s Rosa Fierro Cellars was ranked No. 3 for its “friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere” and a full of life tasting room expertise the report known as “sassy but classy.”

Founder Rosie Fierro mentioned proudly owning her personal vineyard has been a dream come true and she or he praised the ladies of the Livermore Valley wine neighborhood.
“We have a higher percentage of women-owned wineries and winemakers than in other areas throughout the U.S.,” she mentioned. “And we are proud of the collaboration and support we give to one another as women in this industry.”
Of the ten wineries on the record, eight had been from California and two had been from Oregon.
“Livermore taking both the No. 2 and No. 3 spots is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to our community’s dedication to women winemakers and leaders who collaborate, uplift and celebrate one another,” Darcie Kent mentioned.
