SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO – Authorities on Thursday arrested an East Bay man on suspicion of robbing and kidnapping an individual at gunpoint final month in South San Francisco.

The episode was reported July 14 within the 2500 block of Bantry Lane, in keeping with the South San Francisco Police Division. The sufferer instructed officers he invited the suspect, an acquaintance, to his dwelling, the place the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded cash from the sufferer.

The suspect then ordered the sufferer to drive him to a close-by financial institution to withdraw extra money, police mentioned, including that the sufferer complied as a result of he feared for his life.

Police mentioned the person was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood Metropolis on fees together with first-degree theft, grand theft and felon in possession of a firearm.
