San Jose man arrested on suspicion of pepper spraying and threatening somebody with knife in San Mateo

San Mateo police arrested a person on Sunday on suspicion of pepper spraying and threatening a person with a knife, based on a division press launch.

The suspect is a 34-year-old San Jose resident. He was arrested on suspicion of creating prison threats, brandishing a weapon, and committing vandalism and battery. He’s being held in Maguire Correctional Facility. His subsequent court docket date is scheduled for Jan. 17.
