SAN DIEGO (AP) — Southern California was jolted Monday morning by a robust earthquake close to San Diego.
The earthquake, at 10:08 a.m., had a preliminary magnitude of 5.2 and was close to the mountain city of Julian, east of San Diego, based on the U.S. Geological Survey.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Division mentioned it acquired no quick studies of harm or accidents.
The quake swung lighting fixtures and rattled cabinets in San Diego and was felt as far north as Los Angeles.
The quake was centered about 2.5 miles south of Julian, a picturesque city greatest recognized for its apple pies and bakeries.
