Fireplace in San Jose displaces 12 individuals and two canine

SAN JOSE – A dozen individuals and two canine have been displaced by a hearth Monday in San Jose, in keeping with authorities.

The blaze broke out round 5:10 p.m. at a fourplex within the 1100 block of Mesa Drive, close to Pioneer Excessive College, the San Jose Fireplace Division mentioned in a social media submit.

All 4 of the models have been left uninhabitable, with one sustaining “significant smoke and water damage” and the others hearth harm, in keeping with the fireplace division.

The American Pink Cross supplied help to no less than seven adults, 5 kids and a pair of canine, the fireplace division mentioned.

The reason for the fireplace is underneath investigation.
