EL CERRITO — Authorities are on the lookout for a stranger who touched an elementary faculty pupil Thursday afternoon in El Cerrito.

The incident occurred round 12:35 p.m. at Fairmont Elementary Faculty, situated within the 700 block of Kearney Road, the El Cerrito Police Division stated in an advisory.

Faculty officers instructed officers a person was standing outdoors the varsity on Eureka Avenue when he caught his fingers via the chain-link fence and touched the scholar on the hair and neck. Afterward, the person ran eastbound towards Centennial Park.

Officers searched the world for the person however didn’t discover him.

The sufferer and witnesses described the person as Asian. He was final seen sporting black clothes, a black baseball cap and an N95 masks over his face, based on police.

Patrols might be stepped up across the faculty because the investigation unfolds, police stated, including that the West Contra Costa Unified Faculty District is “providing additional support and enhanced safety measures.”
