A father was fatally stabbed whereas strolling his son dwelling from faculty in San Francisco, and a suspect was arrested greater than 130 miles away.
The assault occurred on Wednesday, Sept. 10, close to Commodore Sloat Elementary Faculty within the Balboa Terrace neighborhood.
Robert Paul Byrd II, 35, had picked up his 8-year-old son on the faculty shortly earlier than 5 p.m. The 2 had been strolling, holding arms, in a crosswalk at Junipero Serra Boulevard and Ocean Avenue when Byrd was stabbed by a person with whom he’d had “an altercation,” in response to police.
