SAN MATEO – A shock legislation enforcement coaching train on the Faculty of San Mateo fueled fears of an energetic shooter late Tuesday afternoon, based on authorities.
Armed people and screams had been reported between 5:15 and 5:20 p.m. round Constructing 12, the Faculty of San Mateo and San Mateo Police Division stated in advisories.
The San Mateo County Group Faculty District Public Security Division and San Mateo Police Division dispatched officers to the scene. They arrived to find exterior legislation enforcement businesses had been conducting a coaching train with the school’s emergency medical technician program, based on authorities.
“Appropriate notifications had not been made and our agency was not made aware of outside agencies using the campus for training,” San Mateo police stated.
“While glad to learn this was not an active threat, our department responded in force and took appropriate actions immediately,” the company continued. “We train for these responses regularly and our community should feel we are prepared to respond.”
No accidents had been reported.
Police didn’t establish the legislation enforcement businesses that had been concerned within the coaching train.
