BB gun fired throughout South Bay road-rage incident

PALO ALTO – A 20-year-old Palo Alto man was arrested on suspicion of firing a BB gun at one other man throughout a road-rage incident final week in Palo Alto, police stated.

The incident occurred round 6:40 p.m. Friday within the 700 block of San Antonio Highway, in accordance with the Palo Alto Police Division. The sufferer, recognized as a person in his 30s, stated the rear window of his automobile was shattered through the incident.

An investigation revealed the sufferer had been driving southbound on Freeway 101 when the suspect began following him and flashing his headlights, police stated.

The sufferer exited the freeway and got here to a cease at San Antonio and Middlefield roads. That’s the place the suspect pulled up and instructed him to decrease his window, police stated.

The sufferer didn’t comply. He then heard a pop adopted by the sound of his rear window shattering, police stated.

The suspect was recognized and arrested at his house, police stated, including {that a} BB gun was discovered inside his automobile. He was booked into Santa Clara County jail on costs of discharging a firearm in a negligent method and vandalism, each felonies.
