Authorities determine two who died in Contra Costa County crashes

Authorities on Wednesday recognized two motorists who died in crashes in Contra Costa County earlier this month.

A one-car wreck on northbound Interstate 680 Monday killed 25-year-old Shelby Sherman, of Martinez and in addition critically injured a passenger, in accordance with the California Freeway Patrol. The opposite crash occurred Feb. 6 on Vasco Highway in Byron and killed 68-year-old Weiming Shao, of Brentwood.
