BERKELEY — Police right here say that an East Bay housebreaking suspect was concentrating on individuals’s properties and taking issues to the subsequent stage, cleansing out residence furnishings, fridges, and extra.

In two felony circumstances filed inside 11 days of one another, Alameda County prosecutors charged a 41-year-old Oakland man with two housebreaking sprees in Berkeley. One, in August and September, focused native flats, the place he allegedly stole, “refrigerators, couches and tables,” loading them right into a U-Haul truck, in response to police.

The second spree occurred on the UC Berkeley campus, the place he allegedly stole digital scooters and bicycles, some price as a lot as $4,000. In these November incidents, he allegedly illegally entered bike cages at college dormitories.
