4 arrested after allegedly stealing from Lululemon at Hillsdale Mall

SAN MATEO — A retail heist on Thanksgiving eve led to 4 suspects spending the vacation in jail after allegedly stealing 1000’s of {dollars} in clothes from the Hillsdale Buying Middle.

In line with the San Mateo police, the suspects – one 19-year-old and three juveniles who reside in Oakland – stole about $6,000 price of Lululemon clothes from the mall at round 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

They then drove off with the stolen items, however police tracked their automobile to Oakland the place all 4 suspects have been detained and the stolen merchandise was discovered of their automobile.

The 19-year-old, recognized as Charles Gaines II, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree housebreaking, organized retail theft with the intent to promote the stolen items, conspiracy to commit against the law and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, police mentioned. He was later booked into San Mateo County jail.

The three juveniles, aged 14, 16, and 17, have been launched to their dad and mom and guardians, however authorities are looking for to cost them in juvenile courtroom with second-degree housebreaking, organized retail theft with the intent to promote the stolen merchandise and conspiracy to commit against the law.

In line with police, two of the juveniles have been additionally recognized as suspects in a previous Lululemon theft that concerned a reported lack of $13,000.
