COLORADO: Mona Shah and Joe Samagond of Fremont lately accomplished a memorable drive throughout Colorado. “We experienced a symphony of color, altitude and awe,” Joe mentioned. “From the crisp, pine-scented air, the journey felt like an untamed invitation to embrace nature’s grandeur.” They made stops in Denver, Boulder, Rocky Mountain Nationwide Park, Glenwood Scorching Springs, Aspen and Breckenridge. They particularly cherished the golden Aspens, the decision of the elk and the profound stillness of the Continental Divide.

TRAVEL TIPS: Joe recommends reserving a timed entry move to enter the Rocky Mountains Nationwide Park on recreation.gov. Entries are simply $2, turn out to be accessible a month or two upfront and promote rapidly.

EGYPT: Wendy Walleigh and husband Rick Walleigh of Los Altos lately returned from Egypt and Jordan, the place they considered many websites that had been between 2,000 and 5,000 years outdated. Stated Wendy: “One of the most spectacular is Abu Simbel in Upper Egypt along Lake Nasser, near the Sudan border. It comprises the Temple for Ramses II and a Temple for his wife, Nefertiti. They were literally hewn from rocks surrounding them, with tombs and bas relief walls of figures below this entrance. The size of these outer statues is so impressive.”
