VTA bus driver slashed with knife, suspect arrested

SAN JOSE – A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of slashing a VTA bus driver a number of instances with a knife Wednesday morning in San Jose, in accordance with authorities.

The episode occurred simply after 7 a.m. at Blossom Hill Street and Hillview Avenue, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Workplace stated in a collection of social media posts.

The suspect was repeatedly pulling the cease request twine, and when the bus driver confronted him, he grew to become aggressive, pulled out a knife and slashed the driving force a number of instances, in accordance with authorities.

The sheriff’s workplace stated the suspect ran from the bus however was rapidly detained by deputies. He was booked into county jail on felony fees together with assault with a lethal weapon.
