On Thursday, King Charles took unprecedented motion by stripping his brother, Prince Andrew, of all royal lands and titles.
The choice comes after years of controversy surrounding Andrew’s alleged sexual misconduct.
Essentially the most distinguished accuser was an American lady named Virginia Giuffre, who claimed that she was sexually assaulted by Andrew whereas being trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein.

“This normal girl from a normal family has taken down a prince,” Sky mentioned by tears.
The household echoed these feedback in a press release to Individuals journal:
“Today, an ordinary American girl from an ordinary American family brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage,” they wrote.
“Virginia Roberts Giuffre, our sister, a child when she was sexually assaulted by Andrew, never stopped fighting for accountability for what had happened to her and to countless other survivors like her,” the assertion continues.

“Today, she declares victory.”
“When we get home, you are to do for him what you do for Jeffrey,” Virginia quotes Maxwell as saying.
“Again on the home, Maxwell and Epstein mentioned goodnight and headed upstairs, signaling it was time that I care for the prince, Within the years since, I’ve thought lots about how he behaved.
“He was friendly enough, but still entitled – as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright.”

Virginia first got here out along with her allegations a number of years in the past, and for a very long time, it appeared as if the royals would take no motion.
However this week, Charles shocked the world with an announcement about his brother’s future:
“His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew,” reads the assertion issued by Buckingham Palace.
“Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.”
Andrew has not but publicly responded to the Palace’s choice.
