Congress MP and Chief of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, earlier this week, lauded the Karnataka authorities for enabling what he described because the “fastest factory ramp-up seen in India so far,” in reference to iPhone producer Foxconn’s recruitment of almost 30,000 workers at its facility at Devanahalli close to Bengaluru inside 9 months.
