DUBLIN — Two college students have been hospitalized Thursday morning after a combat broke out amongst three college students at Dublin Excessive, police stated.

Police recognized the third pupil concerned within the confrontation however didn’t detain him, in line with an announcement from police Capt. Miguel Campos.

Officers responded to the college about 11:50 a.m. after being instructed between 50-to-100 college students have been gathered round watching the combat within the pupil union. Campos stated that earlier than they arrived, one of many college students misplaced consciousness however had regained his full consciousness and performance.

That pupil and one other one glided by ambulance to a hospital to be evaluated and handled for his or her accidents. Campos stated the accidents didn’t look like severe ones.

Police haven’t decided what brought about the combat.

Officers positioned the highschool below a lockdown within the aftermath as a precautionary measure “to ensure the safety of all students,” Campos stated.
