Trio charged in taking pictures and theft of man in Oakland’s Montclair District

OAKLAND — Two males and a juvenile are dealing with felony costs in reference to a theft and taking pictures final week in Oakland’s Montclair District, prosecutors stated.

The alleged crime occurred round 9:10 a.m. on April 2 within the 1900 block of Cortereal Avenue.

Kelvin Davis, 19, is charged with theft, assault with a firearm inflicting nice bodily damage, possession of a machine gun, possession of a firearm by a prohibited individual and possession of a stolen automotive, in response to the Alameda County District Legal professional’s Workplace. Davis has a previous strike for theft that enhances his potential sentence.

The sufferer, a person in his 40s, was shot 3 times, prosecutors stated. He was final listed in crucial however steady situation.

Keyjuanne McGhee, 21, can also be charged with theft, possession of a machine gun and possession of a stolen automotive, in addition to being armed with a firearm in the midst of a theft, in response to the district legal professional’s workplace.

If convicted, Davis faces greater than 40 years to life in jail and McGee faces greater than 7 years.

Davis and McGhee are set to be arraigned Friday on the Wiley Manuel Courthouse in Oakland.
