Tickets on sale Saturday for Christmas Eve screenings of ‘It’s a Great Life’

Tickets will go on sale Saturday, Dec. 6, for the Stanford Theatre’s Christmas Eve screenings of “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

The field workplace on the theater, 221 College Ave. in Palo Alto, will open at midday Saturday. Tickets are $7 and may be purchased in particular person solely — no on-line or cellphone gross sales — with a restrict of eight per purchaser.

Lately, the 1,175-seat theater has bought out its screenings of the Frank Capra traditional. Showtimes are 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Dec. 24.

The restored 100-year-old film palace may even have Christmas films Dec. 20-23: a double invoice of “The Shop Around the Corner” and “Meet Me in St. Louis.”
