OAKLAND — A girl was arrested and charged with murdering one other girl in a latest capturing at a neighborhood fuel station, data present.

Lanae Adams, 28, was charged final week with murdering 29-year-old Darnesha Williams in a Jan. 2 capturing on the Kwik Serve within the 2200 block of East twelfth Avenue in Oakland. Williams was shot whereas driving away from the station in a stolen Audi, in accordance with police.

The capturing was caught by surveillance video. Police say that investigators acknowledged Adams’ distinctive tattoos, and later in contrast them to her Fb and Instagram pages, resulting in a optimistic identification.

Adams was arrested on Feb. 11. She is being held at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin with out bail and is due in court docket on Tuesday to enter a plea. Authorities haven’t disclosed a motive however described it as a focused capturing.

Police say that Adams bought a experience to the fuel station from one other individual earlier than coming into the Audi and making an attempt to drive off.

The capturing occurred round 5 minutes earlier than midnight. Williams was transferred to a hospital and pronounced useless on Jan. 3.
