Sunnyvale: 5 theft suspects arrested after jewellery retailer heist

SUNNYVALE — 5 folks have been arrested in reference to a latest jewellery retailer theft and a police pursuit in a stolen automotive.

The arrests occurred July 23, days after a jewellery retailer was robbed by a number of suspects on El Camino Actual. After that incident and different comparable robberies, police say they have been looking out for suspicious exercise and had requested close by enterprise house owners to remain vigilant too.

The suspects have been seen in two stolen vehicles close to Lawrence Expressway and Freeway 101, police mentioned. One of many vehicles led police on a brief pursuit, and its occupants then exited the vehicles and fled. They have been arrested close to Fremont Avenue and Rembrandt Drive.

All 5 males are both from San Francisco or Oakland, police mentioned. Authorities say they’re “investigating whether the incident is connected to other recent jewelry store robberies in the area.”
