No-frills provider Spirit Airways is planning to chop routes in October because the bankrupt airline fights for survival, and rival carriers are taking the chance to pounce.
Spirit stated in an announcement to FOX Enterprise that it’s going to finish service to Albuquerque, New Mexico; Birmingham, Alabama; Boise, Idaho; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Columbia, South Carolina; Oakland, California; Portland, Oregon; Sacramento, California; Salt Lake Metropolis, Utah; San Diego, California; and San Jose, California, efficient the week of Oct. 2. The provider will not launch service at Macon, Georgia, which was scheduled to start on Oct. 16.

The Chicago-based provider introduced Thursday that it is including flights to its winter schedule. Beginning Jan. 6, there can be new routes to fifteen cities, together with Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Las Vegas, in line with the provider.
