Robert Eugene “Bob” “Grubby” Grubb, 74, of Morgantown, handed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Kingwood Well being Care Heart, surrounded by the love of household and mates. He was born on June 17, 1951, in Buckhannon, WV, the son of the late Cecil Lowell and Geneva Genevieve Hinkle Grubb.
Bob was preceded in loss of life by his beloved spouse, Sheri Janelle Satterfield Grubb, on September 27, 2023. Collectively, they shared a deep and devoted bond, full of years of laughter, love, and cherished recollections.
After graduating from highschool, Bob proudly served his nation within the Military Reserve earlier than starting a distinguished profession as a West Virginia State Trooper. His robust sense of responsibility and integrity outlined him all through his life. He later joined Cintas, the place he labored diligently for a few years till his retirement.
Bob had a sort coronary heart and a curious spirit. He liked spending time outside looking, shopping flea markets, and gathering Coca-Cola memorabilia and classic telephones. He had a particular affection for animals and shared a very shut bond together with his canine, who introduced him nice consolation and pleasure.
He’s survived by his sister, Donna “Sis” Matthews and husband; his sister-in-law, Brenda Blosser; brothers-in-law, Richard Satterfield and Rodney Satterfield; and several other nieces and nephews who will bear in mind him fondly for his heat, humor, and delicate soul.
Along with his dad and mom and spouse, Bob was preceded in loss of life by one sister, Margaret Wilcher; two brothers, Larry Grubb and Donald Grubb; mom and father in-laws, Lawrence and Harlene Satterfield; and two nephews, Tim Grubb and Donald Grubb, Jr.
Household and mates shall be obtained at Bartlett Funeral Residence, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM till the hour of service at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Rocky Ridenour officiating. Interment will comply with at Matthews Cemetery.
