Music icon Smokey Robinson is on the heart of a stunning new lawsuit.
4 former housekeepers who had been employed by the Motown legend are actually accusing him of sexual assault.
The unnamed plaintiffs are in search of $50 million in damages.

Lawyer for alleged victims speaks out in opposition to Smokey Robinson
The swimsuit was filed Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court docket.
“Obviously, no amount can compensate these women for what Mr. Robinson subjected them to,” legal professional John Harris instructed reporters.
He added that given the severity of Robinson’s alleged crimes, “This amount is clearly warranted.”

Harris defined that the 4 accusers “were Hispanic women employed as housekeepers earning below minimum wage.”
“As low-wage workers in vulnerable positions, they lacked the resources and options to protect themselves,” he defined.
Accusers describe horrific assaults, worry of talking out
One plaintiff alleges that Robinson assaulted her a minimum of 23 instances between Might 2014 and February 2020.

One other former worker claims that Robinson assaulted her a minimum of 20 instances in the course of the 12 years she labored for him, starting in 2012.
She describes a “ritual” whereby Robinson would enter his bed room bare after which unfold a towel on his mattress so the linens wouldn’t be dirty by “what was about to occur.”
One other accuser says she labored for Robinson for 13 months, throughout which period, he allegedly assaulted her seven instances
“In a desperate attempt to stop his sexual assaults,” the swimsuit says of this plaintiff, “she would proclaim ‘you’re married.’”
