Sharks lower seven gamers from preseason roster

The Sharks introduced Friday that they’d lower three forwards and 4 defensemen from their preseason roster.

Forwards Mitchell Russell, Lucas Vanroboys and Anthony Vincent have been despatched to the Barracuda’s coaching camp, as have been defensemen Artem Guryev, Braden Hache, Joey Keane and Valtteri Pulli.

Guryev, a 2021 fifth-round draft decide getting back from shoulder surgical procedure, performed his first 12 months with the AHL membership final season, alongside Pulli, Russell and Vincent.

Vanroboys signed with the Barracuda late within the season after ending his school profession at Massachusetts and Hache signed within the offseason after successful the Memorial Cup as a member of the OHL’s Saginaw Spirit.

Keane, a 2018 third-round decide of the Rangers, was in San Jose on a tryout after taking part in within the AHL from 2019-2022 with two video games within the NHL, then taking part in for Spartak Moscow of the KHL.
