Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has been talking out a couple of new civility marketing campaign concentrating on manners, flight habits and acceptable gown for airplane journey.

Duffy just lately drew consideration to Pope Leo XIV in an X submit complimenting the chief of the world’s Catholics on his outfit on Monday.

“Now THIS is dressing with respect,” Duffy stated in a lighthearted repost of a photograph of the pope on a airplane. The pope was standing and speaking to others as he held a baseball bat he’d simply been given.

The pope is on his first abroad journey, heading to Turkey and Lebanon. He was gifted a bat as soon as owned by Chicago White Sox participant Nellie Fox.

Images of the pope throughout his flight sparked strong conversations on social media.

“Civility at its [peak]. Is the pope a baseball fan, or was he blessing someone’s bat?” requested an X person.

“Nobody is ever going to dress better on a plane. He kinda knocked it out of the ballpark with this one,” joked one other individual. 

“Air travel has gotten so precarious these days, even the pope carries for self-defense,” stated one person, pointing to the bat.

One other person joked, “Oh yeah, and let’s fine him for not having a Real ID, though.”

The outfits and habits of passengers got here into the highlight when Duffy was talking at Newark Airport in New Jersey final week. He stated he’d observed “a degradation in civility” amongst air vacationers.

Duffy launched what he referred to as a “civility campaign” to encourage courtesy and persistence through the crush of vacation journey.

At President Donald Trump’s Cupboard assembly on Tuesday, Duffy doubled down on the marketing campaign, saying that People ought to be courteous when placing TSA bins again within the stack.

“Let’s be nice to each other, is what we’ve asked. Maybe not wear pajamas or slippers on the airplane,” he added.
