Two of the Bay Space’s longest-running traditions will cap off the month of August 2025 — and each happen in Alameda County.
In Fremont, the 61st Niles Vintage Faire and Flea Market will get below manner at 6 a.m. Sunday (sure, that early) as collectors head to this historic district seeking discount finds. In Pleasanton, gates will open at 8 a.m. Sunday on the Alameda County Fairgrounds for the159th Scottish Highland Gathering and Video games. This celebration of Scottish tradition, music and the “heavy” sports activities has been held within the Bay Space since 1866. Admission and parking passes are offered on-line solely, even on occasion days; no tickets will likely be offered on the gate. The Video games will finish with a 6 p.m. ceremony.
