BRENTWOOD – A pupil was arrested on suspicion of bringing a gun to highschool Tuesday in Brentwood, police mentioned.
Workers members contacted the police division and a college useful resource officer was dispatched to the campus.
An investigation decided the firearm was actual, police mentioned. The scholar was arrested and brought to juvenile corridor.
Police mentioned they’re working intently with the varsity, the Brentwood Union Faculty District and the scholar’s mother and father to find out the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“We take any report of a weapon on campus extremely seriously and are thankful for the students who reported their concerns, along with the swift response from school staff,” police mentioned.
“Based on our investigation, this is an isolated incident,” police added.
