A Santa Rosa man was arrested in possession of a handgun early Saturday after officers have been dispatched to a report of gunshots being fired, police stated.
Officers have been despatched to the realm of Olive Road and Earle Road about 3:30 a.m. to research the gunshots criticism. A caller advised police they regarded outdoors and noticed somebody get in a silver Toyota Tacoma and drive away.
Minutes away, within the space of Dutton Avenue and Sebastopol Street, officers discovered an identical car. A loaded 9mm pistol was discovered below the seat, police stated.
Jose Orozco-Abaraca was accused of possession of a loaded firearm in a car, taking pictures at an inhabited dwelling and driving on a suspended license.
