Santa Cruz Fireplace Division rescue man trapped in motel

SANTA CRUZ — The Santa Cruz Fireplace Division rescued an unconscious disabled man from a hearth on the Aqua Breeze Inn on Sunday afternoon.

The hearth crew, which obtained the decision at 1:48 p.m., rushed to the scene and located heavy smoke coming from the motel’s first ground.

In accordance with authorities, lodge occupants have been evacuating the constructing with some reportedly screaming that a person was trapped inside one of many rooms.

Firefighters aggressively extinguished the hearth whereas on the lookout for trapped people. They shortly situated the unconscious man within the room and carried him exterior for medical remedy.

The person was then transported to Dominican Hospital for emergency care, however his situation stays unknown.

Extra hearth crews labored to cease the hearth from spreading to adjoining rooms and ensured that every one occupants have been safely evacuated.

The reason for the hearth is below investigation, although authorities don’t imagine it to be suspicious.
