SAN MATEO — A weeks-long investigation into potential prostitution at a therapeutic massage parlor in San Mateo led to two arrests Wednesday, police stated.
The probe of QQ Ache Administration Well being Heart kicked off Oct. 30, based on the San Mateo Police Division.
Officers confirmed “ongoing acts of prostitution” on the institution, police stated.
On Wednesday, officers served a search warrant on the parlor, positioned at 21 thirty seventh Ave., and took two individuals into custody. A 42-year-old San Rafael resident was arrested on suspicion of pimping, pandering and interesting in prostitution, and a 43-year-old San Mateo resident was arrested on suspicion of partaking in prostitution.
Police inspired members of the general public to report any companies or areas they consider could also be concerned in unlawful prostitution or human-trafficking operations.
“Community awareness and cooperation play a vital role in helping law enforcement identify and investigate these crimes,” police stated.
