San Jose police search suspect who struck officer whereas fleeing

A U.S. Fish and Wildlife Companies officer was struck by a suspect in an off-road car Friday night time as they fled from the world of Grand Boulevard and Los Esteros Highway within the residential neighborhood of Avilo, in accordance with the San Jose Police Division.

The Fish and Wildlife officer tried to detain the suspect when the suspect drove their Can-Am off-road car into the officer. The Fish and Wildlife officer fired at the least one shot towards the fleeing suspect’s car however couldn’t verify if the bullet hit the topic, the San Jose Police Division mentioned in an announcement on X.

SJPD obtained a name at 9:23 p.m. for the reported capturing. SJPD officers transferred the Fish and Wildlife Companies officer to the hospital with non-life-threatening accidents. The officer was launched from the hospital as of Sunday morning, in accordance with SJPD.

SJPD said the suspect is unidentified and nonetheless at massive. The investigation is ongoing.
