“A long-term investigation by Metro Team 2 led to the takedown of narcotics traffickers with help from our MERGE Unit,” San Jose Police Division Assistant Police Chief Brian Shab wrote in a social media submit.

The Cellular Emergency Response Group and Gear, or MERGE Unit, is how the division refers to its “SWAT” crew.

The division served search warrants at three San Jose houses as a part of the investigation. The names of the arrested suspects haven’t been launched at the moment.
