San Jose man killed in crash on Freeway 17

A San Jose man was killed Sunday morning when his pickup truck veered off Freeway 17 in Santa Cruz County and slammed right into a tree, authorities stated.

The crash occurred round 10:39 a.m. Dec. 14 within the southbound lanes simply south of Vine Hill Street, close to the north fringe of Scotts Valley, in keeping with the California Freeway Patrol’s Santa Cruz workplace.
