San Jose man arrested in reference to gaming console theft

SAN JOSE – A person suspected of robbing one other man of a gaming console earlier this 12 months in San Jose is in custody, police mentioned.

The theft occurred Might 9 within the 15000 block of Charlotte Avenue when the sufferer met the suspect to promote him the console, based on San Jose police spokesperson Stacie Shih.

Shih mentioned the suspect assaulted the sufferer, brandished a gun, took the console and threatened to kill him if he known as police. The suspect left the realm earlier than officers arrived.

Detectives launched an investigation and recognized the suspect as a 27-year-old resident of San Jose, based on Shih.

On July 22, police arrested the suspect in Sacramento and booked him into Santa Clara County jail on costs associated to theft, brandishing a firearm and prison threats.
