San Jose man arrested in reference to deadly hit-and-run

SAN JOSE — A 33-year-old San Jose man was arrested Wednesday in reference to a deadly hit-and-run collision two days earlier close to the SAP Middle, in accordance with authorities.

The suspect was driving a black 2021 Ram pickup truck eastbound on Santa Clara Road when he hit a girl driving an electrical scooter northbound within the east crosswalk, Hernandez mentioned.

The girl was taken to an space hospital, the place she died of her accidents. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Workplace recognized her as Monica Violete Ibarra, 52, of San Francisco.
