SAN JOSE – A instructing assistant at a San Jose faculty was arrested earlier this week on suspicion of possessing sexually suggestive photographs of minors, authorities mentioned.

On Monday, sheriff’s deputies have been dispatched to Chandler Tripp College, positioned at 780 Thornton Approach, after workers members reported discovering a USB flash drive containing inappropriate photographs, in response to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Workplace.

The USB flash drive belonged to Kirk McFarland III, 72, of San Jose, authorities mentioned.

McFarland admitted he had seen and downloaded sexually suggestive photographs of minors, in response to the sheriff’s workplace.

He was arraigned Wednesday on one felony rely of possession of kid sexual abuse materials.

McFarland, a long-time instructing assistant, began working at Chandler Tripp College simply over a month in the past, authorities mentioned. The Santa Clara County Workplace of Training, which oversees the positioning, knowledgeable mother and father concerning the scenario in a letter.
