Boys basketball
No. 2 Salesian 66, Pinole Valley 33

Salesian received its eleventh straight recreation, defeating Pinole Valley for the second time this season. Senior Elias Obenyah led Salesian with 13 factors and sophomore De’ari Simmons had a team-high 11 factors for PV. Salesian (17-1, 7-0) performs Clovis West on the MLK Traditional at De La Salle on Monday. Pinole Valley (7-11, 2-5) hosts San Lorenzo on Monday.

No. 6 Dougherty Valley 59, No. 3 De La Salle 48

No. 5 Oakland Tech 78, McClymonds 48

Oakland Tech dominated from begin to end as Saddiq Alarbesh scored a game-high 15 factors together with six rebounds. Star level guard Ardarius Grayson and Luther George every had 12 factors. SI took down West Catholic Athletic League rival Mitty within the Metropolis due to 17 factors from Raymond Whitley and 16 from Vince Crisp. Joseph Seifu led Mitty with 15 factors, and Daniel Ryan added 10.

No. 11 California 47, Monte Vista 45

The Grizzlies survived a detailed recreation as they beat Monte Vista on the street to take sole possession of first place within the East Bay Athletic League standings. Dane Wallace led California with 16 factors and 7 rebounds whereas Ketan Kumar had eight factors and 6 rebounds. California (18-2, 3-0) will play Granada at dwelling on Tuesday. Monte Vista (13-7, 1-2) will face Foothill at dwelling on Tuesday. 

No. 18 Menlo-Atherton 62, Carlmont 60

M-A pulled out a nip-and–tuck win over Carlmont to stay excellent in Peninsula Athletic League Bay Division play, bettering its league report to 5-0. Granada is now 7-12, 1-2 and also will compete within the Miramonte showcase on Saturday, enjoying St. Mary’s-Berkeley. 

School Park 69, Northgate 48

The Falcons received their fourth straight recreation behind strong scoring from Colton Dielissen and Mathys Joseph. Dielissen had a game-high 18 factors and Joseph scored 17. Junior Steven Barnett chipped in 12 factors for School Park, which improved to 11-7, 4-2. School Park is scheduled to play De Anza on Wednesday. Northgate dropped to 12-6, 3-2 and can play Alameda on Monday. 

Homestead 71, Monta Vista 59

In a battle of Cupertino crosstown rivals, Homestead emerged victorious on Friday night time at dwelling. Brian Chou led the Mustangs with 30 factors, however Homestead obtained contributions from up and down the lineup. Christian Babcock was in Cupertino and has the story right here.

The King’s Academy 62, Priory 48 

TKA hosted Priory in Sunnyvale and picked up its second league win to stay excellent in WBAL play. Karan Kolappa led the Knights with 18 factors, and Teddy Xanthopoulos led Priory with 19.

Mountain View 48, Los Gatos 41

Mountain View picked up a pleasant league win over Los Gatos on the street Friday night time. Senior Jayden Minor led MV with 24 factors and 12 rebounds. Junior Ben Maller added 12 factors with two 3-pointers made. Anthony Martin led Los Gatos with 19 factors, and Zach Otoupal chipped in 9.

Sidwell Buddies 53, No. 1 Mitty 40

Going through its first elite check since dropping star junior ahead McKenna Woliczko to a season-ending ACL harm, Mitty was unable to hold with Sidwell Buddies of Maryland on the HoopHall Traditional in Springfield, Massachusetts. No. 19 Menlo Faculty 51, Sacred Coronary heart Prep 38

Menlo dealt with rival and next-door neighbor SHP with a snug victory. Karen Xin led visiting Menlo with 25 factors, together with seven 3-pointers. Ruiqi Liu added 19 factors for the Knights in a supplementary position. 

No. 20 Castilleja 56, Crystal Springs Uplands 40 

The final staff within the BANG rankings topped Crystal Springs on the street. Antonia Vlahos led Castilleja with 25 factors, and freshman Mia Samaan-Molinero paced Crystal Springs with 22.

Harker 61, Mercy 15

Harker confirmed no mercy in taking down its Burlingame-based WBAL rivals at dwelling in San Jose. Isabella Lo led Harker with 18 factors, and Emily Mitnick added 10 factors. Amira Festejo-Rivera led Mercy with eight factors.

Hillsdale 60, Half Moon Bay 46

Hillsdale picked up a street win in Half Moon Bay. Hillsdale led simply 22-21 on the half, however a double-digit benefit for the Combating Knights within the third quarter (25-14) made for an insurmountable HMB deficit.

Northgate 55, School Park 26
