Police investigating tried theft in Palo Alto

PALO ALTO – An investigation is underway into an tried theft earlier this week in Palo Alto, police mentioned.

The incident occurred round 11:30 p.m. Monday within the 2700 block of Midtown Courtroom, in keeping with the Palo Alto Police Division.

The victims – described as two males of their 20s – had simply left their close by parked automobile and have been crossing the road when a person holding a handgun approached them and demanded they empty their pockets, police mentioned. Fearing for his or her security, the victims ran away.

The suspect didn’t pursue the victims, in keeping with police. No accidents have been reported.

The victims described the suspect as Latino, in his 20s, about 5 toes 9 inches tall and about 170 kilos. He was final seen carrying a black jacket, black pants and a black masks.

Police mentioned there have been no related incidents within the metropolis lately.
