Pierpont Neighborhood and Technical School continues to broaden its profession coaching alternatives with the launch of its new Industrial Manufacturing Technician (IMT) Program, designed to arrange college students for high-demand careers in fashionable manufacturing. The 9-week coaching program, which begins this fall at Pierpont’s Superior Know-how Heart, gives a hands-on, career-focused pathway into the commercial workforce.
The IMT Program covers important matters, together with mechanical methods, electrical elements, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, pneumatics, mechatronics, and precision measurement instruments. College students will even earn certifications in CPR, AED, and First Help to make sure office security and emergency readiness.

The IMT Program is now open for enrollment, with two cohorts presently scheduled. Courses meet Monday by Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. throughout the preliminary bootcamp week, adopted by weekly Thursday classes and scheduled lab work.
