FREMONT – A driver hit and killed a pedestrian over the weekend in Fremont, police mentioned.

Round 4:10 p.m. Saturday, officers noticed a automobile dashing and driving recklessly on Osgood Street, south of Auto Mall Parkway, in accordance with the Fremont Police Division.

Officers tried to cease the driving force, however he sped away, police mentioned, including that officers turned off their emergency lights “in the interest of public safety” and overpassed the automobile.

A short while later, the driving force ran a purple mild on the intersection of Osgood Street and South Grimmer Boulevard, collided with one other automobile, misplaced management and crossed onto the sidewalk, the place he hit a pedestrian, police mentioned.
