Palo Alto police examine deadly solo automobile crash

A person died after a solo automobile crash in Palo Alto simply earlier than midnight on Saturday, and police are investigating the circumstances resulting in the incident, in accordance with the Palo Alto Police Division.

The sufferer, recognized solely as a person in his 40s, was the lone occupant of a pickup truck that crashed on Alma Road on the College Avenue overcrossing at 11:57 p.m. on Saturday, in accordance with police.

Police and the Palo Alto Fireplace Division discovered the person unconscious contained in the car after they arrived on the scene. First responders pulled the person from the car and transported him to a neighborhood hospital. The person died of his accidents on the hospital, authorities stated.

In line with a preliminary investigation by police, the person was driving northbound on Alma Road when the truck left the roadway and collided with a median, police stated. The company’s Specialised Site visitors Accident Reconstruction (STAR) workforce continues to research the circumstances of the incident.

“At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.  Police do not believe any other vehicle was involved,” in accordance with the Palo Alto Police Division.
