Oakland man charged with firing 19 photographs in anger after salesman got here to his door

OAKLAND — A resident has been charged with threatening a door-to-door salesman and taking pictures a gun 19 occasions to get the alleged sufferer to go away, court docket information present.

The 41-year-old Oakland man was charged with making legal threats, negligent discharge of a gun, and possessing a gun and ammunition as a felon. The charging paperwork say he has prior felony convictions, together with two for assault, that prohibit him from possessing firearms.

The person pleaded not responsible Oct. 8 and is out of custody, information present. He was arrested Oct. 3, after the alleged sufferer confirmed up on the entrance door of the suspect’s house on Holly Road and requested to talk with him.

The suspect allegedly threatened the sufferer that he would “set it off,” then fired a complete of 19 photographs in two totally different volleys, authorities mentioned. Nobody was hit by gunfire. Police responded and arrested the person on Worldwide Boulevard, about three-quarters of a mile from the taking pictures.

The subsequent court docket date, a preliminary listening to, has been set for late November, information present.
