Microsoft ‘deploying repair’ after customers report issues with Outlook and Groups | Science, Local weather & Tech Information

Microsoft has mentioned it has began to “deploy a fix” after customers reported issues with Outlook and Groups.

The know-how large mentioned on Monday that customers had been impacted resulting from a “recent change” to its Trade On-line programme.

In a submit on X on Monday afternoon, Microsoft 365 Standing mentioned it had reverted the change and “started to deploy a fix which is currently progressing through the affected environment”.

It added: “While this progresses, we’re beginning manual restarts on a subset of machines that are in an unhealthy state.”

By 2pm Microsoft’s personal service standing web site mentioned all programs had been operating usually.

Down Detector, a web site that tracks outages, mentioned tech issues began at roughly 8am.

Customers from the UK and round Europe took to social media to report they had been having issues accessing the platform.

One person wrote: “When you need to check an important mail, but #outlook decides to not work…”

Whereas one other added: “Here in Belgium mainly issues with tracking of e-mail in Dynamics 365. Inbound and outbound in Outlook still work.”

Microsoft directed affected customers to its admin centre, a web page that’s supposed for individuals who have entry to enterprise networks and different professionals who handle IT networks. The web page requires a login.
