A wildfire in California’s Siskiyou Mountains has prompted evacuation orders and highway closures.
The Dillon Hearth had burned 2,134 acres (3.4 sq. miles) by Wednesday morning, the nationwide forest hearth administration crew mentioned.
It was reported Monday, Aug. 25, within the Ti Bar space alongside the Klamath River, south of Cottage Grove. The trigger is beneath investigation.
The map above reveals the evacuation order in pink and the approximate hearth perimeter in black. Updates and particulars, together with warning areas, will be discovered on the Genasys Defend map or the Prepared Siskiyou website.
One-way visitors controls have been in impact on Freeway 96 within the space of the hearth.
