SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO – Authorities on Tuesday recognized a person shot and killed by officers a day earlier in South San Francisco as 60-year-old Brian Joseph Montana.

Montana was recognized in an replace that included different particulars concerning the taking pictures within the 300 block of Arroyo Circle.

Officers have been initially dispatched to the scene at 5:52 p.m. for a report of an individual – later revealed to be Montana – brandishing a firearm at a neighbor, in response to the South San Francisco Police Division. They arrived on the scene minutes later and instantly referred to as for backup as a result of Montana was taking pictures into an occupied dwelling.
