Man hit by driver six years in the past in San Jose dies from accidents

SAN JOSE – A person died Saturday of accidents he suffered greater than six years in the past when he was hit by a driver in San Jose, police mentioned.

The collision was reported within the space of Lucretia Avenue and Summerside Drive simply earlier than 8:40 p.m. on Sept. 18, 2019, in keeping with San Jose police Officer Tanya Hernandez.

An investigation decided a person was driving a 2012 Dodge SUV southbound on Lucretia Avenue when he hit two pedestrians, a person and a lady, crossing the roadway, Hernandez mentioned. The pedestrians weren’t in a marked crosswalk on the time.

The person was taken to an space hospital with life-threatening accidents, however he was later stabilized.

On Tuesday, the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Workplace notified detectives the person died from his accidents Saturday. Hernandez mentioned the coroner’s workplace “declared the manner of death due to the accident.”

The coroner’s workplace will launch the person’s id after it’s confirmed and his subsequent of kin is notified.

The loss of life is being counted as the town’s 62nd site visitors fatality of 2019, in keeping with Hernandez.
