Luka Doncic is being traded by the reigning Western Convention champion Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis, an individual with information of the settlement mentioned early Sunday.

Doncic, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris are headed to the Lakers, whereas Davis and Max Christie are going to Dallas, mentioned the one who spoke to The Related Press on situation of anonymity as a result of neither workforce can announce the deal whereas it awaits league approval.

It’s an absolute blockbuster, with Doncic set to hitch LeBron James in Los Angeles, and Davis now headed to Dallas to associate with Kyrie Irving.

“I believe that defense wins championships,” Mavericks common supervisor Nico Harrison advised ESPN. “I believe that getting an All-Defensive center and an All-NBA player with a defensive mindset gives us a better chance. We’re built to win now and in the future.”
